CoreBookings includes a studio waiver (terms and release). You write the text in Settings. Clients accept it in the client app before they book or buy a pass. You can check their status on the client profile.
Short answer #
- Edit the text under Settings → Waiver.
- Clients accept it in the app (I agree / Accept & book).
- On the client profile, look for Waiver Accepted or Waiver Not accepted.
Edit your waiver text #
Where: Settings → Waiver
- Go to Settings → Waiver.
- Open Waiver Configuration.
- Edit the Waiver Content field (your terms and release text).
- Click Save Waiver Settings.

The page title is Waiver & Release Agreement. There is a preview checkbox labelled I have read and agree to the terms above (preview only).
Where clients accept the waiver #
Clients accept the waiver in the CoreBookings client app (not in the studio dashboard), typically:
- On your studio profile: Waiver required — tap to review, then I agree.
- Before booking a class: Before you book → Accept & book.
- Before buying a pass: Before you book → Accept & continue.
If a waiver is set and they have not accepted it, self-serve booking can be blocked with a message that the waiver must be signed before booking.
Check waiver status on a client #
Where: Clients → open the client
Under the client's name you may see:
- Waiver Accepted (with the acceptance date)
- Waiver Not accepted
- Waiver not set (if you have not saved waiver content yet)

Staff bookings #
When you add a client to a class from the dashboard, CoreBookings does not force the same waiver check as self-serve booking. If your studio policy requires a signed waiver, collect it separately (for example ask them to accept in the app, or keep a paper/digital process you prefer).
