Is It Possible to Allow Two or More Customers to Share a Pass or Package?

CoreBookings ties every pass and membership to one client profile. Two people cannot log in and book from the same pass, but you can manually split visit balances across separate accounts.

Short answer #

  • Shared pass: not supported — each pass belongs to one client
  • App booking: clients must use their own login; visits deduct from their own pass only
  • Workaround: adjust visits on one profile and issue the other person their own pass with the remaining balance
  • Where: client profile → Active PassesAdjust visits

Why passes cannot be shared #

When a client buys a class pass or membership, it is stored on their client record. Bookings made in the mobile app or public checkout always use the logged-in client's passes.

There is no setting to attach one pass to multiple accounts (for example, a couple sharing a single login or a family pass used by two emails). Memberships bill the individual client who purchased them and cannot be shared either.

Split a pass between two clients #

If your studio policy allows it, split a multi-visit pack across two people manually:

  1. Make sure each person has their own client profile with a unique email (required for app login).
  2. On the profile that holds the purchased pass, open Active Passes and click Adjust visits to reduce the balance (for example, from 10 to 5).
  3. On the second client's profile, add a pass with the remaining visits (for example, 5) using POS or Add Pass on their profile. Match the expiry date if needed.
  4. Each person now books with their own account and their own visit balance.

This is a manual studio workaround. CoreBookings does not automatically link the two passes or prevent one person from using more than their agreed share.

Example: a couple with a 10-class pass #

A couple buys one 10-class pass and wants five classes each:

  1. The pass is sold to (or remains on) Client A's profile.
  2. Open Client A → Active PassesAdjust visits → set Visits remaining to 5.
  3. Open Client B's profile and add a 5-visit pass with the same expiry (sell at POS, comp, or adjust after assignment).
  4. Client A and Client B each book classes from their own app login.

If you prefer not to split after purchase, sell two separate passes from the start (for example, two 5-class packs) so each client owns their visits from day one.
